FAQ

Fair questions, plain answers.

Everything skeptical buyers ask us, answered the way we'd want it answered — no hedging. Missing one? Email hello@newslet.ai and a human replies.

The writing

Those are excellent editors — you still have to show up every week and write. newslet is the writer. It reads your industry's news, decides what your clients should know, and drafts the issue. The tools give you a blank page; we hand you a finished draft.
Judge it yourself before paying anything — paste your URL and read your first issue. Every story carries a concrete "here's what this means for you," local angles beat national filler, and empty phrases are banned at the source.
Real trade publications for your industry — insurance journals, housing data, dental research — read fresh every week. Stories are picked for your clients specifically, then written in your voice. Nothing is syndicated: two businesses in the same town never get the same letter.
Unchecked, it can — which is why every dollar figure and percentage in a draft is traced back to its source story before the issue can send. Anything unverifiable gets flagged to you. Local color is grounded in real data (like actual weather), never invented.
Tell it why in one sentence — "less national politics, more roof-repair season" — and the next issue adjusts. You can rewrite any story before sending, and pin the stories you want covered next week. Cancel anytime; there's no contract.

Control & approval

On Approval mode, yes — one tap from your phone. On Autopilot, issues send on schedule and you can step in whenever. Either way you can edit any line before it goes.
Every line. Click any story to edit it directly, or give a one-line instruction ("make this friendlier") and it rewrites just that section. Your edits always win.
Yes — standing rules like "never use the word 'cheap'" or "always mention our weekend hours" hold across every future issue, on both modes.

Your list & deliverability

You do, completely. Import it, export it anytime as a CSV, take it anywhere. We never rent, sell, or cross-promote to your list.
The opposite is the goal: a weekly issue your clients actually open is the strongest positive signal you can send Gmail. We only send to lists you confirm opted in, honor every unsubscribe instantly, and cap every new account's sending until we've reviewed it. We will never touch cold email — that's a hard line, not a setting.
Yes — verify your domain in Settings and issues send from you@youragency.com instead of our shared domain. Until then, sending is handled on properly authenticated infrastructure either way.
They land in your real inbox, not a dashboard. When a client replies "can we talk about my renewal?", that's your email to answer — the whole point is starting those conversations.
Every issue carries your business address and a working unsubscribe link, and opt-outs apply immediately. Importing a list requires confirming your contacts opted in to hear from you — no confirmation, no send.

Regulated industries

That's who it's built for. Issues are education-framed with the right footer for your vertical automatically — no-legal-advice for firms, not-tax-advice for accountants, education-only for advisors and insurance, not-medical-advice for practices — and on Approval mode nothing sends without your sign-off, so your existing review process still applies.
No. Drafting reads public industry news and your public website — never your CRM, AMS, or patient records. Your subscriber list is used only for sending and stays yours.

Pricing & commitment

Yes. Paste your URL, read your issue, decide after. No card required to see it. You pay only when you want it sent to your list every week.
Approval mode is $69/mo and full Autopilot is $149/mo, month to month. Your first issue is free to read — paying starts only when you connect your list and send weekly. For comparison, a freelancer or agency runs $500–2,000/mo.
No. Month to month, cancel anytime, no setup fee. (The done-for-you incumbents bill annually with cancellation walls — we think that's why their reviews look the way they do.)
One issue a week to your full list. Up to 2,500 contacts on Approval mode and 10,000 on Autopilot — above that, talk to us.
Nothing, automatically. You read it, and if you want it going to your list weekly, you pick a plan and connect your list. No card is taken for the free issue and nothing recurs until you say so.

The fastest answer is your own issue.
